Welcome to Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa.
Relaxing rock pools, soothing sulphur pools, cascading pools, and an array of water jets and bubbles - at a range of temperatures.
For the kids (and kids at heart!) we have four hydroslides, including New Zealand’s longest waterslide, Conical Thrill, activity pools and a lazy river.
We're excited to introduce the debut of Violet Vortex and Waiau Winder. These innovative slides have taken the place of our cherished older beige and green slides. Our latest slides feature cutting-edge LED lighting and projection technology, enhancing the thrill factor and crafting a unique adventure!
Entry price includes all outdoor pools and slides.
For those who wish for a taste of luxury - try the private pools, sauna, steam rooms, and the luxurious spa. It's all here in an atmosphere that cannot help but reset the balance in life…

Hanmer in February
My sister and I had a great time, sampling the different pools and benefitting from a lovely relaxing afternoon. Staff were friendly and helpful and our visit was perfect.

Great place
This is a fantastic place.You can stay as long as you want,you just have to pay for the locker on the amount of time you want to stay.Loads of different pools,a lazy river,a large swimming pool,slides as well.Ireally enjoyed my time here.It is very good value for money

Too many people
Way to many people - couldn’t find anywhere to sit - should definitely monitor how many people are going in. Paid my $3 for a locker but they were all full - Wasn’t keen on sitting in there touching some strangers shoulder. Not for me. Wouldn’t do again.

Visitor from Nelson
I took 2 US family members to the pool one morning. We were all marvelously relaxed after this, enjoying a hot shower afterwards. A very special way to spend a morning.
