Stargazing on Tekapo Spring

因天空不作美導致連一顆星星都看不到,但AR介紹及導覽員非常認真的介紹以及說明Tekapo跟Mackenzie的歷史跟有趣的事,值得一推

Hot Pool + Stargazing

A must do experience if you're in queenstown. The guides were amazing and took us through the journey of stars post which we soaked in the hot pools to enjoy stargazing. Totally worth every penny.

Enjoyed all facilities and services

The weather wasn't its best due to the cloudy sky but with the hot and cold drinks, the thick blankets to keep us warm when outside on the telescope, the VR experience to teach us more on the stars and soaking in the hot pool of chlorine water while our guide was pointing out the stars and explaining, I think they did their best to educate us and keep us entertained. Had a try on the drying machine in the changing room too, didn't know such a thing existed. Honestly, I preferred this to Mt John Observatory with Dark Sky Reserve. Would have been Fantastic if not for the clouds, which is not within their control!

Weather didn't cooperate

Sadly the weather was not on our side and it was cloudy for our activity. Instead of outdoor stargazing we had vr headsets - which were quite lame as a replacement. Then we got to go in the hot pools for about 50mins. It was fun, just not really worth the price since we didnt get to do the main part.

Ok

Average experience- too expensive for what you get. Would not do it again, even with a clear sky. Guide has good knowledge, but bit hard too follow if you are not a native english speaker. Guest Service experience could be better I experienced some mansplaining. Not cool. Missing some female staff here as well.
