Unbeatable Views
We had a lovely ride around Wanaka and up the river. The bikes we rented were in fine condition and handled well. Both of us are bikers back home so renting substandard bikes really subtracts from an experience but these did not. They handled the rolling barrow rocky trails as well as the road and gravel. And the trails provided fantastic views. Highly recommend this excursion!

Bike Lounge
Picking up the bike was good. A friendly young man helped me choose a helmet and matched me to the correctly sized bike dropping was terrible. We waited outside while the owner i presume had a conversation with his friends totally ignoring us.

Kia ora Valdene, thank you for your feedback, our apologies for the bad experience you had upon returning your bikes. All throughout the year we have multiple businesses operating from our premises (7+ businesses with over 40 staff, 5 of whom work at Bike Lounge) including a ski workshop, administration offices, and others who are not employed at Bike Lounge so they are not always able to receive returned rentals. If you can email us with any more information about your return to [email protected] that would be greatly appreciated. This will help me pass this feedback onto the winter crew who are often working or meeting for conversations during our busiest afternoon returns so we can ensure we communicate effectively across all businesses working from our space.
