Our family had a nice time at the aquarium. Highlights were the fish and penguin feedings. We also really enjoyed seeing the kiwi and the black light room. It is a little bit on the smaller side, so I think you can experience it all in about two hours. I wouldn’t plan for more than that.
Cool animals, beautiful space and location alongside Marine parade. Very small aquarium though. You can easily see everything in about 30-45 minutes.
We loved the aquarium in Napier. Was a great activity for a rainy day. They had a show on with divers which was really cool. Lots to look at - happy kids.
Favourite part was the tunnel.

Enthralling... and Cute Penguins.
We went as a school group of teenagers. It was fascinating to watch the fish and stingrays being fed. It was educational; and the penguins were very cute.
