Nice short rafting experience

It was a cool experience and the rafting lasts around 45 minutes only. Does not require much effort and we only rowed for some very short periods as you constantly have to stop and wait for other rafts.

Amazing time

We absolutely loved the ride. Be prepared to get wet even when the raft does not flip over, but know that it's totally worth it. We had an amazing raft lead, got to swim through one small waterfall (optional of course). The river part that we got through was shorter than we expected but it might also be just because we enjoyed it so much and time goes quicker then. Thanks to Kaitiaki adventures for the wonderful experience!

Unfriendly Staff

It was a terrible experience for me and my friends. We were treated very badly by the staff named Jack. We were excited and had hoping for a fun and safe experience but unfortunately, we were disappointed with the staff's behavior. The guide seemed disinterested or not happy seeing our group and we were met with sarcasm or ignored. The unprofessional behavior from the staff made the trip stressful instead of enjoyable. I was visiting from overseas and it was my first ever activity in New Zealand but I was very disappointed.

Safe and Well Organized

Excellent trip , well organised, informative, we were told what to expect and bring beforehand. It is run like a well oiled machine, if I had to say anything negative about it is that as soon as your trip is done ,there is another group gearing up to go on the next one, not much time to interact with the people you have just had a thrilling adventure with. All the raft leaders were excellent and happy with plenty of positive energy, someone on our raft cut her fingers on the out of raft over rapids experience, Which was thrilling but they were given band aids back at the shop but no real attention. Nothing to make a fuss of really, they are all very busy.
