Confinement Taupo offers 4 exciting escape rooms with unique themes, storylines and clues as well as outdoor scavenger hunts perfect for people who enjoy problem-solving games, birthdays, corporate team building and stags or hens do's.
We are located in central Taupo and are the first Escape Room in New Zealand to achieve a Qualmark certification.
Our fully themed escape rooms have regularly changing clues meaning you can come back again and again for a fresh new challenge every time. Get your team together and put your detective hats on to see if you can solve the clues and puzzles to escape in 60 minutes or less......
The Marvelous Circus
Difficulty Levels:Standard 3/5, Advanced 4/5
Storyline:You're the new face in the spotlight at The Marvelous Circus, but there's a twist before you can get comfortable. An unsettling revelation awaits: the fortune teller's crystal ball disappeared overnight, and there's a suspicion that someone swiped it to sabotage her act. The Circus Show is on tonight, and we can't proceed without that crystal ball. The clock is ticking – you've got a small window of 60 minutes before the first act steps in. Hurry, you're our sole chance to retrieve it before the curtain goes up!

So much fun!
We had a great time completing the escape room, it was a good challenge, engaging and a load of fun! We even got it done with time to spare (and a few hints along the way….)

Great escape room
We have done many escape rooms and this one did not disappoint. The puzzles were the right level.
