Craters Of The Moon Geothermal Walk - Taupo

Posted by Krystal from New Zealand on 18 Jan 2022
Krystal said... No longer as active as it was. Mud craters appear to be dried up. A few steamy bits. Other places e.g Waiotapu, etc. are much more active and better viewing. A long 1 hour walk for not a lot of activity. You can basically see it all from the viewing platform as you enter and save yourself the walk.
