See New Zealand's famous rain forests from the "top down", a truly unique attraction!
An exhilarating treetop adventure set amongst the stunning West Coast of New Zealand, and it's temperate rainforest giants.
Offering a unique perspective of life with the birds high in the ancient Rimu and Kamahi tree canopy, the canopy walk offers quite simply breathtaking vistas and an insight into canopy eco-systems. Easy access for all to enjoy along a steel platform 20 metres high and over 450 metres long.
This is a totally unique experience in New Zealand and offers the only opportunity to see New Zealand's famous rain forests from the "top down". Come and enjoy a leisurely 45 minute to one hour stroll, listen to the native bird song and take a moment to "hear the quiet"!

Great views across to the lake
We had a great time at the Treetop walk facility. Highly recommended a must do when in Hokitika.
In the tree tops 20m drop Coffee was too hot All in all felt ripped off It's a extremely short walk that's much overpriced. $10 a walk would be more appropriate Also I booked for morning because they say about birdsong but then let some tourist fly his drone which scared off the birds within a few minutes of me starting my walk. The coffee at the cafe charges 50cents for a takeaway cup and $6.50 for small coffee which was bitter and way too hot to enjoy. They get away with this because most people are tourists and will never say anything or be back. I felt this was definitely a tourist trap and locals in hokitika laughed at me stating it's a place you go once and never again due to prices and the fact it's not very exciting The company says to tag them on Facebook and then blocked me because of the above poem being used on my post. They didn't appreciate my poetic review. You can definitely go and experience it for yourself but this is my honest opinion and review of the place.
Very awesome will be back

Something a bit different
We enjoyed this more that we had expected to, it was a beautiful day and we took our time and read all of the information points and also made it to the top of the tower for great views all around. What a feat of engineering it must have been to get that and the walkways in place. Zip line wasn't running on the day of our visit. We got our tickets with a Bookme discount, but do recommend it to visit, and suggest to allow enough time to absorb the experience.
